The Annual Wild & Scenic Red RiverFest on 5/18-5/19/2024 takes place at Clay City Park in Powell County. 5/17 preparty event with film screening and live music takes place at Sky Bridge Station. The family friendly event includes a Red River 4-mile Fun Floats, free live music all day, kids & adult activities, rock climbing wall, yoga, fun & education clean water workshops (including Watershed Watch Stream Sampling Certification training!), film screening, cornhole tournament, silent auction, prizes, craft, food & drink vendors and more! Clay City Park is the launch location for the event’s Clay City Loop Fun Float and the takeout is a short .2 mile walk across Main Street. Fun environmental education programming is available at the event tent and you can win prizes for participating! This event is FREE thanks to our wonderful sponsors. Registration is required for the paddle and does cost. There are rentals available or bring your own boat options. Paddle scholarships are available. See below for event schedule.
